| I don't think I'm a fan of politics anymore. I couldn't find the words to capture why, but when I was reading a book by Donald Miller, I think he captured it pretty well:
" So often decisions aren't being made based on whether or not the ideas of a political party are good ideas; decisions are based on associations and dissociations in the lifeboat. It becomes very dangerous. Watch CNN for an hour and you'll see what I mean. THere are about one in a million people who see life as complex, knowing that all men have the capacity to do both good and bad, to be responsible and irresponsible, but the other million think people, politicians, whatever, are perfect or entirely evil. I have Christian friends who hated Bill Clinton and love George Bush, and liberal friends who love John Kerry and can't stand George Bush. And if you listen to conservative or liberal radio, you will hear one side making fun of the other in the lifeboat. The talk will have very little to do with the issues. People see what they want to see based on what associations are going to help them survive. No wonder the alien rolled his eyes."
Wake me an hour before I need to vote.

Like the delicate layers in a moon cake, there are many different layers in unfolding the complexity of life. One strives to hit the very core and eat the sweet soft insides. Here's to you, Bernard Peng. May your new married life be sweet and tasty. And best of endeavors with your new camera. I used the 50mm above.

| I was trying to tell my sister that her frozen yogurt cone was way too small when I stumbled upon this old picture.

Man, that hair looks out of control.
| If you stay at Shilla Bakery long enough, you will run into someone you know.

| I was minding my own business driving to work when a sign challenged me. It caused me to think outside the box. It enlightened me. It said...
Already in a state of utter confusion, I had no idea what to do. Another sign then gave me guidance. Keep it tight I shall. Here's a week in review (in cameraphone pics.)
On Wednesday, there was some pretty insane weather going on. Something about tornadoes, thunderstorms, flash flooding, etc. Here's me trying to run away from the storm. I see the clouds, but the cars in front of me aren't moving! I can see the end in sight! I'm almost there! I believe in hope!
Didn't make it.
Benn-ihana. Without the Benn. I was at the Nats game Saturday. Going there, our nice public transit system, Metro, decided to shut down the air conditioning in our car. Smart move, since it's baking in there. The guy next to me, who was in town for work, started talking about the stadium and stuff. He said something about how he's from Seattle and I mentioned that I think they're playing the Giants or what not. Then he asks, "What's up with Barry Zito man?" Thoroughly confused, I was like, um...no idea. I'm not a Giants fan. He then says, "Oh. What part of San Fran are you from?" Even more confused, I then look down.
Oops. Wrong shirt. Crap. Of all days to wear this.... While at the game, those big thunderous clouds decided that they wanted to stalk me again. I was trapped behind a metal fence. Go away clouds! There is no chance to survive make your time! Okay time for church.
